Bakers, gardeners, quilters, woodworkers, photographers and other artisans of all ages are invited to showcase their talents at the 2015 OC Fair (July 17-August 16). Details for the 2015 OC Fair competitions are available at ocfair.com/competitions.
The following competitions are open to adults:
- Culinary: Baked Goods & Confections, Preserved Foods, Sugar Arts, Table Settings, Home & Commercial Wine, Home Brew
- Garden & Floral: Container Plant, Cut Flower, Floral Arrangements (Fresh, Dry & Specialty), Fruit & Vegetable, Honey
- Crafts & Hobbies: Jewelry Arts, Fiber Arts, Hand Crafts, Collections
- Visual Arts: Photography, Woodworking, Sculpture, Painting, Graphics, Ceramics
- Livestock (Breeding): Rabbits, Poultry, Goats
The OC Fair competitive entries require online registration in advance and the deadlines for entry registrations are as follows:
- May 1 – Homebrew (Homemade Beer)
- May 2 – Commercial Wine
- May 16 – Home Wine
- June 1 – Crafts & Hobbies, Visual Arts, Youth: Explorium
- June 5 – Livestock
- July 1 – Culinary: Sugar Arts
- July 1 & 22 – Culinary: Table Settings
- July 15 – Culinary: Cakes, Cupcakes & Confections, Cookies, Bars & Brownies
- July 22 – Culinary: Pies, Cheesecakes, Yeast & Quick Breads
- June 15 – Culinary: Preserved Foods

It’s “One Big Party” for the 2015 OC Fair, July 17-August 16, as it celebrates its 125th anniversary with 23 days of food, rides, shopping, exhibits and animals. Enjoy world-renowned performers in the Pacific Amphitheatre and exciting events in The Hangar and Action Sports Arena. The Fair is open Wednesday-Sunday. Concert tickets, action sports reserved seats, single-day general admission and the popular Super Pass are available for purchase online at ocfair.com or from the on-site Box Office.
