The Portland Soup Company

The Portland street food scene is amazing and everyone that is into food should check it out. One place that Kim and I missed on our first trip was the Portland Soup Company. We were lucky to find them open on the second trip and fully stocked with some amazing soups and sandwiches. On this trip friends of ours Kelly (@dp_snfoodies) and Austin (@TheHungryDogg) joined us. They joined us at the Portland Soup Company so we had a chance to order a number of things off the menu.

Everything is made from scratch daily with fresh ingredients. This was a worthwhile wait and experience. The two we met in the cart were super cool. Very friendly and probably got a kick of out us being so excited to eat their food. I am very glad we went and we will return. Check out what we stuffed our faces with:

Slow Smoked Pork Butt with Purple Cabbage Apple Slaw

Tomato Reggiano Soup

Hand Made Mozzarella with Marinated Crimini Mushrooms, Roasted Garlic, Arugula, and Arrabiatta Tomato Sauce

Draper Farms Chicken with Red Beans and Rice

Roasted Turkey Breast with Roasted Pasilla Peppers and Queso Fresco

The Portland Soup Company – Roasted Beat with Red Wine and Dill Sour Cream

Vintage White Mac and Cheese
